Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Sr. Field Performance Engineer to identify and lead resolution of emerging product quality and safety issues.

You will analyze warranty, service, and customer experience data to determine scope, root cause, impact, and corrective actions while partnering with engineering, manufacturing, service, quality, and program teams. You will own field performance for an entire off-road vehicle platform, driving improvements in product performance, dealer experience, and customer

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of relevant engineering experience with hands‑on root cause analysis.
Ability to analyze field or quality data and lead cross‑functional efforts.
Experience with communicating to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Willingness to travel up to 10% and operate or ride applicable products.

Responsibilities

Monitor warranty, service, and customer experience to identify trends and risks.
Use data analysis and engineering judgment to define issue scope and impact.
Lead root-cause analysis and develop countermeasures for complex issues.
Drive corrective actions and transition long-term actions to owners.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve product robustness and performance.
Own platform quality including warranty, dealer, and customer experiences and report status monthly.
Lead meetings to establish ownership and accelerate issue resolution.
Influence stakeholders to align priorities and solutions.
