Polaris Inc. is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to develop CAD-based vehicle layouts, packaging concepts, and interface definitions for Off‑Road vehicle platforms.

You will lead cross‑functional teams across vehicle, powertrain, manufacturing, and design to mature concepts from development to production. The role emphasizes powertrain integration, platforming, and reuse to improve customer value while guiding design decisions and technical mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design, vehicle integration, powertrain systems, or related engineering field.
• Experience leading complex vehicle integration/architecture initiatives across multiple programs.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software; Creo preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM for high‑volume production.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle-level layouts, interface requirements, and integration strategies for powertrain modules and subsystems.
• Develop and mature 3D CAD models, vehicle layouts, packaging studies, and integration concepts for early development.
• Coordinate trade studies and drive designs to meet program requirements, cost, and manufacturability.
• Create and maintain vehicle-level interface documents and powertrain integration models.
• Support analyses such as tolerance, FEA, CFD, thermal, and design optimization.
