Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Sr. Field Performance Engineer to own and improve field performance for an off-road vehicle platform.

You will analyze warranty, service data, and customer experience to identify scope, root cause, and corrective actions, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, service, and quality teams. You will lead structured problem solving, drive corrective actions, and report platform status to management monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with hands-on root-cause analysis and corrective-action leadership.
• Ability to analyze field/quality data and lead cross-functional technical efforts.
• Willingness to work hands-on with vehicles and equipment to understand use cases.
• Experience with vehicle systems, off-road products, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Experience with CAPA, FMEA, system specs, design reviews, GD&T, validation, instrumentation, testing, CAD, or production drawing release is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor warranty, service, and customer experience data to identify trends and safety risks.
• Define issue scope and impact using data analysis and engineering judgment.
• Lead or support structured problem solving to determine root cause and implement countermeasures.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions and transition long-term actions to owners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve product robustness.
• Own the field performance for the off-road platform and report status monthly.
• Lead customer and field quality meetings to drive issue closure and ownership.
