Job summary

CRB in San Diego, CA seeks a Senior Field Operations Manager to lead field operations across complex projects, overseeing safety, quality, schedule, and cost while aligning with CRB standards.

You will mentor Construction Managers and Superintendents, manage workforce planning and project profitability, and serve as the primary client-facing leader to drive successful outcomes on multi-million dollar programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible construction leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading large project teams and field operations on complex projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $30M in construction value.
• Prior responsibility for project financial performance, forecasting, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of field operations for assigned project(s), ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved.
• Lead and develop Construction Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to drive consistent project execution.
• Partner with Project Directors and Operations Leadership to proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and implement recovery plans when necessary.
• Oversee workforce planning, staffing, material management, site logistics, and construction execution strategies.
• Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including forecasting, change management, budgets, and profitability.
• Serve as a primary client-facing construction leader, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Support preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, estimating efforts, and execution planning activities.
• Promote continuous improvement through implementation of best practices, lessons learned, and operational efficiencies.
• Support business development, proposal efforts, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Manage large-scale projects or programs with construction values typically exceeding $50-75 million
