Job summary

Suffolk Construction, America's Contractor, is seeking a General Superintendent to provide leadership for field operations on multiple projects in Texas. You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule alignment while mentoring field teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and architects, developing strong relationships, overseeing pre-construction inputs, and guiding project teams through execution.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills across field teams.
• Excellent communication with clients, architects, and trades.
• Ability to mentor Superintendents, field engineers, and assistants.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project schedule, quality, and safety against SOPs.
• Develop client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat work.
• Recruit and mentor field staff, aligning talent to project scope and needs.
• Provide leadership on materials, sequencing, and construction methods.
• Support business development and pre-construction activities where needed.
• Participate in pre-construction reviews, baselines, and budgets.
• Oversee site visits, punch lists, and warranty-related issues.
• Maintain effective project team communication and coordination.
