Job summary

The Field Operations Manager leads field teams, scheduling, and superintendent groups, owning manpower forecasting, hiring, and project performance to drive margins and success.

This role sits between office and active construction sites, requiring collaboration with estimating, QA/QC, safety, and recruiting to ensure objectives are met and standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical construction operations.
• 5+ years in a leadership or executive level field operations role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the field organization including field operations, scheduling, and superintendent teams.
• Forecast manpower and create man-loaded schedules to inform hiring decisions and margins.
• Review cost reports with field teams to fix cost and schedule issues and improve efficiency.
• Develop project budgets and collaborate with teams to pre-plan projects.
• Guide field leaders' career development and performance reviews.
• Set standards and train on field operations policies and safety practices.
