Job summary

DP Electric, a premier commercial electrical contractor, is seeking a Service Manager to lead and optimize the service department from our Texas office. You will direct, schedule, estimate, and coordinate daily activities, while ensuring profitable project delivery and high client satisfaction.

The role requires at least five years in service delivery within electrical contracting, a construction-related degree, and strong budget management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
Five years of experience in scheduling and delivering services, resource allocation, or a similar role within electrical contracting or construction.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills for project documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

Run the Department: Direct, schedule, estimate, and coordinate daily activities of the service department, its resources, and its staff in support of special construction projects.
Set the Direction: Develop the department's annual budget with leadership and manage spend against approved allocations; set strategic vision, market and customer strategy, and resource planning.
Protect Quality and Compliance: Audit project parameters, specifications, and service requests, ensuring completion and compliance with safety and quality protocols.
Partner and Represent: Collaborate with operations and marketing to boost department visibility and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
