Job summary

Allied Electric Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned commercial projects from initiation to completion.

You will ensure proper staffing, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards and schedules, with leadership responsibilities for field crews and electricians. The role requires strong OSHA knowledge, NEC familiarity, and licensing; you will coordinate with HR and supervision, forecast manpower needs, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Requires valid TDLR Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Experience leading field crews on commercial electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Experience OSHA compliance and safety program oversight.
• Ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and execute work assignments.
• Collaborate with managers, field staff, customers and partners to meet project objectives.
• Communicate progress and project information clearly.
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, safety and performance.
• Adapt to changing conditions while maintaining project continuity.
• Coordinate personnel actions with HR and Superintendent.
• Oversee training and development of all staff electricians.
• Forecast manpower needs based on project schedule.
• Manage resources including manpower, tools, and equipment.
• Oversee job progress, enforce safety procedures, and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Ensure staffing meets production and schedule requirements.
• Review applications, interview, and extend offers for electrician positions.
• Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned.
