Job summary

HEC seeks an experienced field operations supervisor for Alaska (Deadhorse) to oversee production facilities, maintenance, and spare parts inventories while ensuring accurate production records and testing.

The role requires fourteen days on/off with 12-hour shifts, supervising field crews and contractors, and coordinating with accounting and production teams in challenging Arctic conditions. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years minimum experience operating oil and gas production facilities.
• Able to work a fourteen (14) day on and off 12 hour shift schedule.
• Ability to work established work schedule.
• Mastery of mechanical skills.
• Ability to solve problems accurately.
• Ability to work long hours to cover/monitor territory.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to travel to remote locations by plane, helicopter or boat; use immersion suit.
• Ability to work in arctic conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; translate complex information clearly.
• Self-starter with leadership, teamwork and resilience.
• Strong management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily production field by field.
• Reviews, monitors, and maintains well reports and production records.
• Monitors and maintains spare parts inventory.
• Maintains production automation system.
• Supervises wellhead work and station hook-ups.
• Processes field invoices.
• Supervises field operators and contract employees.
• Assists production accounting with allocations.
• Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains and evaluates assigned staff.
• Provides leadership in development of short and long-range operations studies, reports, and recommendations.
• May be required to work multiple fields.
