Job summary

HEC in Deadhorse, Alaska, is seeking an experienced oilfield operator to monitor and operate wells and surface equipment, and to uphold a safe work environment on the pad(s). You will shut in and bring on wells, inspect and repair equipment, record readings, manage permits to work, and respond to alarms and emergencies as part of a on-site team.

This role requires 12-hour shifts on a 14-on/14-off schedule, ability to work Arctic conditions, and to coordinate with Production Control Center for

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years oilfield experience.
• Able to work 14 days on/off, 12-hour shifts.
• Capable of unsupervised operation and problem solving.
• Familiar with permit to work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Shut in and bring on wells as needed.
• Inspect equipment for safety and perform repairs or report.
• Maintain pad operations across multiple sites.
• Monitor meters, pressures, and daily rounds.
• Respond to emergencies and follow SPCC plans.
• Coordinate with Production Control Center.
