Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring in Geismar, LA, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

Candidates with certifications such as ACI, NICET, TxDOT are strongly preferred. Responsibilities include preparing reports, coordinating with dispatch and clients, maintaining safety, and supporting the technical team on varied sites and conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Construction Materials Testing experience preferred.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt and field testing procedures.
• Certifications such as ACI, NICET, TxDOT or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing: slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, casting cylinders.
• Perform soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Complete Proctor testing, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and soil classification tests.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor pile installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate, timely, and detailed field and laboratory reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow all safety procedures.
• Communicate daily with dispatch, management, staff, and onsite clients.
• Relay jobsite updates and project information to management.
