DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring in Geismar, LA. The role emphasizes safety and accurate reporting to meet project specs and client requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of construction materials testing experience and certifications such as ACI, NICET, or TxDOT. Must be able to work outdoors, pass a DISA drug screen and background check, and be willing to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of Construction Materials Testing experience.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt, and field testing procedures.
• ACI, NICET, TxDOT, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials including soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing: slump, air content, temp, unit weight, cylinder casting for compressive strength.
• Perform soil compaction tests using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Complete Proctor testing, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil tests as applicable.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor pile installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate, timely, and detailed field and laboratory reports.
• Communicate daily with dispatch, management, technical staff, and onsite clients.
