Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician for Geismar, LA. This role involves field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure compliance with project specs and standards.

Candidates with ACI, NICET, TxDOT, or related certifications are strongly preferred, with 3+ years of experience in materials testing and a valid driving record. Travel to sites may be required, and safety protocols must be followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of Construction Materials Testing experience preferred.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt, and field testing procedures.
• ACI, NICET, TxDOT, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing (slump, air content, temp, unit weight, cylinders).
• Perform soil compaction testing (sand cone or nuclear density gauge).
• Complete Proctor testing, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and soil tests.
• Monitor pile installation to document capacity and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate field and laboratory reports.
• Communicate daily with dispatch, management, and clients.
