Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician for opportunities in Geismar, LA. The role involves field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure compliance with project specs and client requirements.

Candidates with ACI, NICET, TxDOT, or related Construction Materials Testing certifications are strongly preferred. Must be able to lift heavy testing equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Construction Materials Testing experience required.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt and field testing procedures preferred.
• Certifications such as ACI, NICET, TxDOT or related are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinders).
• Perform soil compaction testing (sand cone or nuclear density gauge).
• Complete Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and soil tests.
• Monitor pile installation and document capacity and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate field and lab reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety procedures and communicate with team and clients daily.
• Support project teams and relay updates to management.
