DIHO Consulting USA LLC in Geismar, LA is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials, ensuring compliance with project specs and industry standards.

The role requires experience, ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, maintain detailed reports, and communicate with project teams. Certifications such as ACI, NICET, TxDOT are preferred, and a clean driving record is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of construction materials testing experience.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt and related field tests.
• Certifications such as ACI, NICET, TxDOT or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete tests: slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, casting cylinders.
• Perform soil compaction tests using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Complete Proctor tests, Atterberg limits, sieve analyses and soil classifications.
• Monitor pile installation to document capacity and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate field and laboratory reports in a timely manner.
• Communicate with dispatch, management, and onsite clients daily.
• Maintain safety procedures and drive to job sites as required.
