Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Geismar, Louisiana, is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Field Technician to perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure compliance with project specs. Preferred certifications include ACI, NICET, or TxDOT.

The role requires on-site field work, safety adherence, timely reports, and strong communication with clients and dispatch. Over-time and on-call readiness are expected, with driving responsibilities and warehouse

Qualifications

• Experience in field construction materials testing required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Able to pass background check and DISA drug screen.
• Open to overtime and on-call schedule.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete testing: slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, casting cylinders.
• Perform soil compaction testing with sand cone or nuclear gauge.
• Conduct Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis.
• Perform asphalt density testing and core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation and document capacity and penetration.
• Produce timely, detailed field reports.
• Maintain safety and follow procedures; communicate with dispatch and clients.
• Build relationships with clients and participate in teamwork.
