Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years as field and/or lab technician in engineering.
• Field and construction observation experience desirable.
• Nuclear Gage Safety and Transport Training certification.
• HAZWOPER certification.
• Strong data analysis using computer software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver license and insurable driving record.
• Professional demeanor; able to work independently.
• WAQTC, ACI, and CAPA accreditations.
• Experience coordinating testing activities and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing per procedures and standards.
• Operate a nuclear densometer to measure density.
• Process test data with specialized software and present results clearly.
• Communicate progress and results to clients, vendors, and staff.
• Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
• Produce accurate field notes and sketches for future reference.
• Perform field and construction observation as needed.
• Maintain a valid driver license and insurable driving record; travel to sites.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
