Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sr. Engineering Technician in the Denver area. The ideal candidate will perform laboratory testing and field observations, process data with software, and communicate results clearly to clients and staff.

Requirements include 5–9 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. Nuclear densometer operation and safety training are valued, with opportunities for growth in a respected employee-owned engineering firm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–9 years of field and/or lab technician experience preferred.
• HAZWOPER certification and Nuclear Gage Safety/Transport training preferred.
• Valid driver license and insurable driving record required.
• Strong data processing and interpretation skills with software tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing per established procedures.
• Operate a nuclear densometer to measure material density.
• Process test data and present results clearly.
• Communicate progress and results to clients, vendors and staff.
• Produce accurate field notes and sketches for records.
• Assist in field/construct ion observation as needed.
• Travel to different sites with a valid license and driving record.
