Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing, quality control inspection, or related field.
• ICC, WAQTC, NICET, or related construction inspection certifications are a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Proficient in using testing equipment and computer applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Perform tests on soils, concrete, and asphalt to verify quality and suitability for use.
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams on materials selection and usage.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inspection and testing results for project managers and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to address issues identified during inspections or testing.
• Stay updated with latest industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to construction materials testing and quality control inspection.
