Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Field Installation Supervisor to lead technicians and subcontractors installing access control and video systems. You will guide the team, review work, and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure on-site success.

The role requires strong field experience, relevant certifications, excellent communication, and the ability to travel up to 50% across the US. You will enforce safety, manage inventory, and support the Install team throughout projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mastery of all Level III Install Technician responsibilities.
• Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
• Certifications in Software House, AMAG, Genetec, and Lenel are high priority.
• Certifications in IP cameras and systems, such as Axis, Sony, Hanwha, Avigilon, Verkada, America Dynamics, Milestone and Exacq are high priority.
• Cisco or other networking training for establishing open/closed LANs is a plus.
• MS Server and deployment of Dell servers is a plus.
• Experienced in the installation of door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
• Reading and comprehending engineered drawings.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Proficient using BlueBeam software is a high priority.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong work ethic and teamwork; “can do” attitude.
• Ability to travel 50% within the US

Responsibilities

• Ensure all UT and site-specific safety programs are followed.
• Supervise and manage the direct reports assigned.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates the ability to supervise and mentor others.
• Must possess programming skills associated with the UT product line.
• Be willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting productivity.
• Be the project’s eyes and ears for the management team.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment at all times.
• Communicate activity to the Project Manager or Program Manager promptly.
• Assist Install team and attend required trainings.
• Complete performance reviews of team members.
• Support Program/Project Managers with weekly/monthly supervisory duties.
