Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Field Installation Supervisor to lead a team and subcontractors in installing and commissioning access control and video systems. You will guide technicians, review work, and coordinate with Sales and Operations to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, decisiveness, and travel up to 50% within the US. A background in security installations with relevant certifications is highly valued, along with the ability to read

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mastery of all Level III Install Technician responsibilities.
• Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in security.
• Certifications in Software House, AMAG, Genetec, Lenel are high priority.
• Certifications in IP cameras and systems (Axis, Sony, Hanwha, Avigilon, Verkada, AMerica Dynamics, Milestone, Exacq) are high priority.
• Cisco or other networking training for open/closed LANs is a plus.
• MS Server and deployment of Dell servers are a plus.
• Experienced in installing door hardware (strikes, magnetic locks).
• Experience reading engineered drawings and redlining drawings post install.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel; BlueBeam is high priority.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all UT and site safety programs are followed.
• Supervise and manage direct reports.
• Maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mentor others and supervise project team.
• Possess programming skills for UT product line.
• Willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting productivity.
• Act as the project manager's eyes and ears.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Communicate activity to Project/Program Manager promptly.
• Assist Install team as needed.
• Attend required product or safety trainings.
• Complete performance reviews of team members.
• Support weekly/monthly supervisory duties (timesheets, expenses, PTO).
• Assess strengths and weaknesses of the team.
• Maintain inventory and protect materials onsite/warehouse.
