Job summary

KLA, a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing solutions, seeks senior field service engineers in the Chandler, AZ area. The role covers installation oversight, diagnosing complex equipment issues, and driving end-to-end repair activities with factory collaboration.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop action plans for unique issues, and participate in product upgrades and new development testing at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Doctorate (Academic) degree with related work experience of 5 years.
• Master’s degree with related work experience of 8 years.
• Bachelor’s degree with related work experience of 12 years.

Responsibilities

• Installations: exercise independent judgement within defined practices and policies to obtain results.
• Tech problem solving: diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment problems and drive root-cause resolution.
• Reporting: prepare field service reports and post-activity quality feedback.
• Mentoring: mentor junior engineers and provide guidance and support on-site.
• Upgrade & relocation: perform model changes and develop procedures for upgrades with PLC/NPI engineers.
• Travel: coordinate international travel and maintain readiness for extended assignments.
• Training: provide on-the-job coaching and share best practices.

Education
