Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking Hydroblaster/ Field Technicians to safely execute jobs at customer locations. You will lead two or more crews, plan daily operations, and ensure documentation and safety compliance at sites across services lines.

Responsibilities include hands-on hydro-blasting, operating pumps and vacuum trucks, and coordinating with customers to meet specifications. Strong emphasis on safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training & essential experience gained on other jobs.
• Language proficiency: understands English at a level to comprehend safety training & respond to instructions in emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and other requirements of the company’s driving policy are required when driving a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies & procedures of both the company & the customer, including operations and safety documentation.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment when required.
• Operate specialized equipment such as ultra-high-pressure pumps and vacuum trucks.
• Examine surface cleaning to ensure conformance to company & customer specifications.
• Supervise crews at job sites: coordinate setup, ensure requirements are met, and report to branch manager.
