Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking Hydroblaster/Field Technicians to safely execute Thompson Industrial jobs at customer sites. You will lead daily operations, ensure proper equipment operation and timely documentation, and maintain safety and customer relations.

The role involves operating hydro-blasting and high-pressure pumps, supervising crews, interfacing with client representatives, conducting routine equipment maintenance, and working under challenging conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with safety policies and procedures on job sites.
• Ability to plan, lead and coordinate daily crew operations.
• Knowledge of hydroblasting equipment and high-pressure pumps.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for safety policies & procedures at the job site.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment.
• Operate high-pressure pumps and related specialty equipment.
• Run pumping and hydro-blasting/chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting tools.
• Inspect surfaces to ensure conformance to specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment used on site.
• If in supervisor role: interface with customer reps to meet scope and report to branch manager.
