Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking a field-based HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems at commercial customer sites. You will work with project teams and customers to ensure precise requirements, using blueprints and a range of tools.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5+ years HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience.
• EPA certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months with clean record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Serve as direct customer contact; diagnose and repair equipment at the customer's location.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
• Be flexible to work overtime/weekends and occasional overnight stays.
• Maintain safety standards and accountability for company assets.
