Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC technician to perform on-site installation and repair at customer locations. You will diagnose and repair equipment, coordinate with project managers, and ensure customer satisfaction while following safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of HVAC experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, EPA Certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC experience of 5+ years is preferred.
• EPA Certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required with clean record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld devices is needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact for projects and ensure satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment at site.
• Use software and tools to diagnose and repair units following blueprints or specifications.
• Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed, including overnight stays.
