Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to service and maintain commercial systems on-site across defined customer facilities. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC equipment, applying knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, typically 10+ years of Commercial HVAC experience, EPA certification preferred, and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 10+ years of Commercial HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator).
• Technical training or trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing, download programming, start-up, commissioning, and service on assigned projects.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and diagnose/repair equipment at customer locations.
• Coordinate with team leader, project manager, and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Use software, blueprints/engineering specs, and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Uphold safety standards and manage company assets on site; willingness to overtime or overnight travel if required.
