Bechtel's Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing, building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. M&T serves data center, life sciences, and EV markets, leveraging agility, innovative tech, and world-class talent.

The Construction Equipment Manager will oversee equipment on large projects, ensure availability, safety, and efficient use to meet timelines, while coordinating with managers, vendors and subcontractors to align with project phases.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience, or 12–14 years in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of Project Equipment Management experience.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar Earthmoving Equipment and major cranes.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with equipment maintenance systems.
• Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Responsabilités

• Plan and allocate equipment to meet project timelines.
• Direct maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety compliance and trained operators.
• Control equipment budgets and operating costs.
• Track inventory and equipment location.
• Coordinate with project managers and vendors for availability.
• Generate and distribute periodic equipment reports.
