Job summary

Bechtel's Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) is designing, building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. The Batch Plant Coordinator will oversee batch plant operations on site to support concrete construction.

Responsibilities include batch plant setup, production scheduling, raw material inventory management, equipment maintenance coordination, quality control processes and coordination with subcontractors and project teams to ensure timely, safe and compliant concrete placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–8 or 9–12 years of experience are required.
• Experience with concrete batch plant operations strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of batch plant setup, production operations, material handling and maintenance is essential.
• Familiarity with testing programs, calibration, and quality documentation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversight for batch plant setup(s), commissioning, operation, maintenance, and production activities.
• Establishes and maintains production schedules, aggregate deliveries, and material handling activities to support project concrete demands.
• Coordinates aggregate unloading and operations systems, material storage areas, and associated equipment.
• Coordinates inventory control, material deliveries, and consumption tracking for concrete raw materials and associated consumables.
• Monitors production performance, equipment utilization, maintenance activities, and operational efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with approved mix designs, batching procedures, quality requirements, batch testing programs, and production specifications.
• Coordinates suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and support personnel associated with batch plant operations.
• Ensures compliance with Project Environmental, Safety & Health requirements, permits, and standards while promoting the philosophy that Safety is a Value.
• Interfaces with construction, engineering, procurement, safety, and environmental to support concrete production requirements.
