Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Manager, Field Engineering to lead a team of Solutions Architects for the Startups segment, partnering with Sales to accelerate revenue and customer success on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

You will hire, train, and grow a high-performing team, develop executive relationships, shape GTM strategy, and ensure your SAs stay ahead of the technical curve with Databricks technologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the data space with a technical product (data warehousing, big data, ML, or generative AI).
• Experience leading technical pre-sales teams and hiring, onboarding, coaching, mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and grow a team of Solutions Architects in a high-growth company.
• Make customers highly successful with Databricks solutions and deliver outsized value.
• Maintain a robust hiring pipeline of top candidates and nurture external partnerships (SIs/ISVs).
• Establish relationships across the business to enable customer and team success.
• Keep the team ahead of the technical curve with Databricks stack knowledge.
• Engage with executives to drive GTM strategy and world-class execution toward sales targets.
