Job summary

Clark Water is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to lead complex field operations, ensuring accuracy, quality and efficiency across project phases. You will manage technical functions, coordinate testing, and provide guidance to junior staff.

You will establish control lines and benchmarks, oversee concrete quantity tracking, and mentor field engineers and apprentices while maintaining safety and adherence to Clark’s standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret structural/shop drawings.
• Ability to layout from drawings without assistance.
• Coordinate between drawings and discern conflicts.
• Proficient in scales and establishing vertical dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment of primary and secondary horizontal and vertical control (column lines, benchmarks, offsets).
• Oversee concrete quantity tracking, placement coordination, and pour performance.
• Mentor Field Engineers and Apprentices and ensure best practices.
• Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and survey teams.
• Support project planning with advanced layout strategies and risk mitigation.
• Care and use of instruments: Total Station, auto level; calibrate as needed.
• Read contour maps and contribute to constructability reviews.
