Job summary

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. The role provides technical support for all piping activities on site, assisting piping superintendents and crafts to ensure safe, compliant execution.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of piping field engineering experience, along with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. This is a full-time on-site role tied to the New Albany project.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
• Field inspections and the physical ability to conduct them in a construction site.
• Familiarity with Bechtel work processes and industry codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to piping superintendents and crafts.
• Implement the project ES&H program and quality control program.
• Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans for major piping activities.
• Inspect field installations and complete associated documentation; perform final P&ID checks prior to turnover.
• Prepare material requisitions, coordinate vendor drawings, and review vendor materials.
• Coordinate with Procurement's expediting team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
