Job summary

Ampcus, Inc. is seeking a Senior Tech Field Engineer to provide onsite Deskside Support for a large client environment in Culver City, CA. You will install, repair, troubleshoot, and upgrade hardware and software while delivering high customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong Mac/macOS and Windows 10/11 expertise, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently at client sites. This is a full-time onsite position at the designated client facility in Culver City.

Qualifications

• Deskside/field support experience required or preferred.
• Mac/macOS experience with Ventura/Monterey/Sonoma required.
• Windows 10/11 support experience required.
• Hardware and software installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• A+ certification preferred or required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to provide onsite technical support independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope Field Engineering and Deskside Support for assigned clients.
• Take complete ownership of onsite service activities.
• Install, repair, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software.
• Perform advanced maintenance and low-complexity installation activities.
• Support Mac/macOS and Windows 10/11 environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and related issues.
• Use advanced tools to diagnose and resolve client problems.
• Provide technical feedback on equipment, systems, and processes.
• Identify and resolve recurring or systemic technical issues.
• Mentor teammates and provide onsite expertise as needed.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and contribute to metrics reporting.
• Monitor issues and communicate improvement recommendations to management.
• Schedule service activities and complete required administrative tasks.
• Work directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and guidance on product functionality.
• Ensure systems operate as designed and are maintained or upgraded.
