Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Construction Manager to drive planning, coordination, and execution of complex near-water and heavy civil projects. You will partner with public agencies, engineers, and contractors to ensure on-time delivery within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3–5+ years in construction management, a BS/BA in a related field, and professional licensure (PE/CCM/EIT/LEED) preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 -5+ years of experience in Construction Management required, specifically in near-water/over-water
• heavy civil construction projects
• BS or BA in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or related field orequivalent experience required
• PE, CCM, EIT, LEED or licensure as an Architect preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with public agencies and external stakeholders during construction to ensure compliance with off-site work requirements and project objectives.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.
• Support contract administration activities, including bid analysis, pre-construction meetings, award coordination, and contractor communications.
• Review and evaluate contractors' construction schedules, submittals, schedules of values, and requests for information to ensure project readiness and compliance.
• Lead coordination between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, scope, and cost parameters.
• Review contractor submittals and obtain responses to requests for clarification, maintaining accurate logs and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate change orders with contractors and assess cost and schedule impacts to achieve fair, reasonable, and project-aligned outcomes.
• Review payment applications and oversee the fiscal management of project resources to support effective project controls and financial stewardship.
• Coordinate with field inspectors to identify, document, and resolve differing site conditions and construction-related issues.
• Perform a variety of construction management responsibilities and special assignments as needed to support successful project delivery.
