Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks a seasoned Construction Manager to lead on transit projects onsite with clients. You will oversee safety, enforce regulations, and coordinate records, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a PE in California, a decade of CM experience on large transit projects, and supervisory leadership to guide teams and contractors through complex changes and approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in California.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Construction Management on transit projects of at least $30 million.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in management of major construction contracts of similar size and scope.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees and public by observing contractor operations and traffic; make recommendations and take corrective action.
• Review contractor operations for CAL OSHA compliance.
• Maintain complete, accurate contract records for construction progress, expenditures, budgets, and work orders.
• Confer with contractors regarding plans, quality of work, and construction activity.
• Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and utilities agreements.
• Prepare reports and incorporate daily inspection reports from Field Inspectors.
• Maintain project records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Calculate and document field quantities for payments.
