Job summary

Bechtel seeks a Structural Engineer with a Civil Engineering degree and 25+ years of experience to lead design and coordinate civil/structural works on Infrastructure, Energy and M&M projects. The role requires familiarity with US/foreign codes and advanced analysis tools, with a track record as CSA Lead or Engineering Group Supervisor.

Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ANSYS, GTStrudl, SAP and SACS is essential, along with strong communication and leadership skills across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred.
• US PE license preferred; license in US a plus.
• 25+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience on infrastructure and energy projects with design coordination.
• Familiar with multiple codes and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares/contributes to conceptual studies, designs, reports, budgets and schedules for projects.
• Guides engineers in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures.
• Reviews bid analyses and prepares cost estimates and staffing needs.
• Checks subordinate work and contributes to performance evaluations.
• Interprets ground investigation data and prepares geotechnical reports.
• Coordinates with disciplines, clients, suppliers and contractors.
