Job summary

Oxy is seeking an experienced Operational Electrical Engineer to provide comprehensive support for field electrical infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing electrical systems and equipment across various projects.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience, including 5 years in the field. Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and exceptional communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of direct field experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for power distribution equipment.
• Collaborate in the design phase for projects using Windmil or ETAP.
• Develop protective relay programs and oversee relay testing.
• Conduct system modeling to optimize efficiency.
