Advanced Giga Inc. is seeking a Controls Start-Up and Commissioning Engineer to validate control systems on MDH, MTCS, and MES modules.

This hands-on role combines shop-floor execution with on-site commissioning, owning I/O checkout, loop verification, and functional testing alongside the commissioning team. You will work with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and PLC/HMI integrations, reading P&IDs and control narratives, and you will document every change.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of controls startup, commissioning, or field service.
• Ability to read P&IDs and control narratives.
• Experience with PLC/HMI integration.
• Comfort working on construction sites and fabrication shop floors.

Responsabilités

• Execute I/O checkout and point-to-point verification for module control panels.
• Run end-to-end instrument loop checks with calibration verification.
• Perform functional testing of sequences with PLC engineer.
• Support FAT and SAT with data capture and trend analysis.
• Commission network and communications layers (PLC-to-HMI, Modbus/BACnet).
• Tune loops and document changes in the master configuration.
• Manage controls punch items and turnover packages.
• Support client witness testing and retest as needed.
• Capture field lessons to improve future module tests.
