Advanced Giga Inc. designs, fabricates, and deploys modular data center infrastructure for hyperscale operators. We seek a Controls Start‑Up and Commissioning Engineer to prove out control systems on every module we ship: MDH, MTCS, and MES.

You will own I/O checkout, loop checks, and functional testing through FAT and commissioning, alongside startup engineers. This hands‑on role couples shop floor work with on‑site commissioning, requiring comfort with instrumentation, control narratives, and

Qualificações

• 5+ years of controls startup, commissioning, or field service on industrial or mission‑critical systems.
• Hands‑on I/O checkout and loop check experience at scale (hundreds of points per system).
• Fluency with Siemens TIA Portal, Allen‑Bradley/Rockwell platforms (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk) or equivalent.
• Able to read P&IDs, control narratives, loop sheets, panel drawings, and instrument indexes.
• Instrumentation fundamentals: transmitters, control valves, VFD interfaces, calibration practice.
• Disciplined documentation habits: checklists, test records, red‑lines that others can pick up.
• Comfortable working embedded with trade crews on shop floors and sites.

Responsabilidades

• Execute I/O checkout and point‑to‑point verification for module control panels; document results.
• Run instrument loop checks end to end from transmitter to PLC to HMI with calibration verification.
• Perform functional testing of sequences of operation with the PLC engineer; cover interlocks and alarms.
• Support system testing during FAT and SAT; capture trend data and validate control response.
• Commission network and communications: PLC‑to‑HMI, Modbus/BACnet with equipment packages.
• Tune loops and adjust setpoints with engineering approval; log changes in master config.
• Manage controls punch items to closure in the commissioning platform and turnover packages.
• Support client witness testing; demonstrate sequences, capture feedback, and retest.
• Feed field lessons back to the controls team to speed up future tests.
