Job description

We are seeking experienced Controls Engineers to support deployment and commissioning activities within manufacturing and material handling environments. This is a hands‑on, field‑focused role supporting active automation projects with a strong emphasis on Siemens PLC systems and autonomous material flow technologies such as AMRs and AGVs.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable stepping into late‑stage deployment environments, troubleshooting live systems, and driving execution during commissioning and production ramp‑up.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and deploy automation systems within manufacturing environments
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal
• Support integration and startup of Siemens drives (G120 / G150) and related control systems
• Work with Profisafe and safety PLC systems, including safety blocks and configurations
• Diagnose and resolve automation and system issues during commissioning and startup
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams supporting AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) and material flow systems
• Take ownership of systems following onboarding and training period
• Provide on‑site support and adapt quickly to changing production requirements

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Siemens PLC programming and commissioning
• Hands‑on experience with TIA Portal
• Experience with Siemens G120/G150 drives
• Knowledge of Profisafe and safety PLC configurations
• Background in manufacturing automation, controls, or material handling systems
• Troubleshooting and startup/commissioning experience in live production environments
• Experience working with AMRs, AGVs, or automated material flow systems is preferred
