Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in civil engineering or CE tech with relevant roadway/bridge inspection experience.
• High knowledge of specs, standards, materials and equipment for highway and bridge work.
• Must read complex plans/reports and apply safe practices onsite.
• Valid US driver's license and pass MVRS check.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document deficiencies; communicate adjustments for contract compliance.
• Conduct daily site visits to monitor workmanship and materials to specs.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
• Perform specialized inspections and write reports for bridge work.
• Supervise junior technicians performing OV audits and inspections.
• Act as SME on Developer activities including remediation and reviews.
• Monitor on-site construction activities and verify materials per plans.
• Oversee sampling/testing per CQAP; coordinate with IQF to resolve issues.
• Attend pre-activity meetings and track QA materials in the database.
• Ensure material certification for Final Acceptance; maintain documentation.
