GFT is seeking a Construction Engineering Inspector to join our Construction Services team in Raleigh, NC. This role involves field inspections, interpreting project data, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards on state and local projects.

You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, with opportunities for hands-on training, career development, and exposure to diverse construction projects within North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
• Must apply safety philosophy to all operations.
• Experience inspecting construction sites and interpreting plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and design calculations.
• Verify dimensions and project data, inspect workmanship for conformance.
• Work under supervision of field engineer or project manager.
