Job summary

GFT is actively seeking a Construction Engineering Inspector in Charleston, SC, to join our Construction Services team. You will support field inspections, perform calculations, verify project data, and ensure workmanship aligns with standards under the guidance of experienced field engineers.

Join a team committed to safety, quality, and sustainability on diverse construction projects. Must be able to work nights/weekends and travel within the state as needed; a SC driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of related construction inspection experience.
• Must be able to work nights/weekends as required.
• Must apply safety philosophy to all operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections, design calculations, verify dimensions and project data, and check workmanship for conformance to standards.
• Work under supervision of a field engineer or project manager on construction projects.
