GFT seeks a Construction Engineering Inspector in Charleston, SC to support field inspections and ensure safety and quality on projects. You will work under experienced field engineers, performing design calculations and verifying dimensions on site.

Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma and 2+ years of related experience, with flexibility for nights/weekends and outdoor work across the state.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly with technicians, engineers, contractors, and the public.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required within South Carolina.
• Apply safety philosophy to all operations on construction sites.
• Work outdoors in variable terrains and weather conditions.
• Collaborate effectively in team and independent settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, perform design calculations, verify dimensions and workmanship.
• Under supervision of a field engineer or project manager, support project deliverables.
