Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Field Engineer to provide planning and technical support for our construction teams on industrial projects in the United States. You will act as a front-line technical liaison, coordinate WorkFace Planning, work packaging, and track issues to keep the schedule and budget on track.

Responsibilities include site inspections, RFIs with clients and subcontractors, review of drawings and specifications, and ensuring quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of field engineering experience preferred in power generation, petrochemical, or similar industrial projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Generate RFIs with clients/subcontractors and track impacts on scope, schedule and cost.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, progress, staffing, safety and open issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and review of drawings and submittals.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures and safety compliance.
