Job summary

Primoris Energy Services seeks a Field Engineer to provide planning and technical support to the construction team on industrial projects. You will act as a front-line contact to resolve field issues, manage WorkFace Planning, work packaging, and status updates.

You will generate RFIs, review specs and drawings, conduct site inspections, monitor schedule and cost, and ensure safety and quality. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of field engineering experience in power generation or petrochemical projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with scheduling and project management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with ability to collaborate in a structured project team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.; Generate RFIs with Clients/Subcontractors and track impacts on scope, schedule and cost.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with specifications, and identify potential issues.
• Understand the Project Schedule and follow WorkFace Planning best practices to ensure field personnel have Work Packages aligned with the schedule.
• Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, progress, staffing, safety and open issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and monitor delivery and review of documents, drawings, and submittals.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet the required specifications.
• Ensure all field activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
