Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Field Engineer to provide planning and technical support to the construction team. You will act as a point of contact to resolve technical issues at the work front as well as aspects of WorkFace Planning, such as work packaging and status updates.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of field engineering experience in industrial projects (power generation, petrochemical or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling and project management software is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including troubleshooting.
• Generate RFIs and track impacts on scope, schedule and cost.
• Review project specifications, standards and drawings from clients and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance.
• Understand the project schedule and ensure WorkFace Planning aligns with the plan.
• Prepare project status reports on schedule, progress, staffing, safety and issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and review submittals.
• Implement and monitor quality control to meet specs and safety policies.
