Accounting Search in the Greater Milwaukee area is seeking a Senior Field Commissioning Engineer specializing in PLCs, robotics and automation to lead onsite and remote commissioning for custom automated systems.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong PLC diagnostics (Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal), robotic calibration, and the ability to travel up to 80% to North American sites; hybrid model with internal shop floor work and field deployments.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of field commissioning experience in custom automation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical prints and schematics.
• Willingness to travel 50–80% across North America and select international destinations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Equipment Readiness: direct commissioning, live-wire debug, and I/O validation before shop floor release.
• Robotic & Cell Calibration: calibrate multi-axis robotics, verify EOAT, and setup communications.
• Hands-On Diagnostics: troubleshoot PLC logic, servo drives, vision systems, pneumatics, and interlocks.
• Customer Field Deployments: install equipment onsite, manage field run-offs, train customer staff.
• Cross-Functional Interface: collaborate with mechanical design, PMs, and shop teams to isolate issues.
• Project Administrative Discipline: log tests, track open issues, and report progress to stakeholders.
