Job Juncture seeks a seasoned field controls commissioning engineer for a hybrid role in the Milwaukee area. You will lead internal commissioning, debug, and I/O validation of custom automated systems, and perform multi-axis robotic calibration on high-scale equipment.

Travel 50–80% to client sites across North America, with occasional international deployments. A strong background in Rockwell/Studio 5000 and Siemens TIA Portal is essential, along with a relevant engineering degree.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Robotics Engineering preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
• U.S. citizen or green card holder; valid driver's license and passport readiness.
• Daily commuting access to Greater Milwaukee area.

Aufgaben

• Lead Equipment Readiness: Direct the internal commissioning, live-wire debug, and I/O validation of custom automated systems before shop floor release.
• Robotic & Cell Calibration: Validate advanced multi-axis robotic platforms from scratch, executing initial electrical/mechanical calibrations, communication network setups, and EOAT checks.
• Hands-On Diagnostics: Perform real-time troubleshooting across PLC logic, servo drives, vision, pneumatics, and safety interlocks.
• Customer Field Deployments: Lead onsite installations and field run-offs at global client sites while training customer staff.
• Cross-Functional Interface: Collaborate with mechanical design, project management, and shop-floor teams to isolate issues.
• Project Administrative Discipline: Track testing hours, manage open issues, and submit detailed field progress logs.
