Job summary

DPBIO is seeking a Senior Field Applications Scientist/Sales professional based in Boston or San Francisco to support customers across the United States. The role blends hands-on scientific support (80%) with consultative sales (20%), including demonstrations, installations, training, and ongoing application assistance.

You will work with BioPharma, Biotech, CRO/CDMO organizations and research institutes, traveling 45–65% of the time.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD in a life sciences discipline.
• Experience in field applications, technical sales, or similar roles.
• Ability to lead demonstrations and training and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-sales technical presentations and live instrument demonstrations.
• Design and execute demonstrations tailored to customer applications and evaluation criteria.
• Install instruments and deliver comprehensive product and application training.
• Support workflows for antibody screening, single-cell analysis, and related applications.
• Provide timely technical support via email, phone, remote sessions, or on-site visits.
• Investigate complex issues and coordinate with internal specialists.
